Espresso Drinks
Iced Macchiato
Small juice glass filled with ice
Fill halfway with half & half
Extract one shot of espresso directly over ice
Cappuccino
Warm 10oz cappuccino mug with hot water
Place 6oz of half & half in a microwaveable container
Microwave the half & half for 45 seconds
Use a hand frother to nearly double the size of the warm half & half (~45 sec)
Extract one or two shots of espresso directly into mug
Swirl half & half and pour over espresso
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup salted butter softened
1 cup white (granulated) sugar
1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
2 cups chocolate (chips or chunks)
Instructions
In a bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
In a separate, large bowl cream together butter and white/brown sugars until combined
Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy
Mix in the dry ingredients until combined
Add the chocolate and mix well
Cookie Dough is finished!
Soft & Gooey Cookies
Steps
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Scoop cookie dough with a small dinner spoon and roll into balls
Evenly spread the balls over the baking sheet leaving enough room for some expansion while baking
Bake in oven for ~7 minutes. Take them out when they are just BARELY starting to turn brown
Let them sit on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack
Enjoy!
Cast Iron Cookie
Steps
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place cast iron skillet into oven for 2 minutes to warm up
Place 2 tbsp. of butter in warm skillet and coat the bottom and sides
Dump the cookie dough into the skillet and spread to create a flat surface
Place in oven for ~20 minutes
Let cool for 30 minutes
Cut like a pizza and enjoy!

Homemade Guacamole
Cut three avocados in half and remove pits
Scoop the avocados out of their shell and place in a medium size bowl
Dice half a red onion and chop a handful of cilantro then add to bowl
Add a dash of lemon or lime juice to the bowl
Mix together until creamy with a few chunks
Salt and Pepper to taste
Macaroni Salad
Ingredients
4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
1/4 cup white sugar
2.5 TBSP yellow mustard
1.5 TSP salt
1/2 TSP ground black pepper
1 large onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped
A handful of baby carrots chopped finely (or grated)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil (add some salt)
Add macaroni and cook until tender (about 8 minutes)
Rinse under cold water and drain
In a large bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours
Enjoy!
Homemade Bread
Ingredients:
1 yeast packet
2 TBSP honey
3 & 1/2 cup flour
2 TSP kosher salt
Oil to grease bowl
Instructions:
Combine yeast with 1/2 cup warm water and honey in a stand mixer.
Stir and wait for 5 minutes.
Add the flour and salt and mix with a dough hook.
Gradually add 1 cup of warm water until the dough comes together.
On a floured surface, kneed the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic (2-6 min).
Form dough into a ball and place in a lightly oiled bowl.
Cover and let rise for 25-30 minutes.
Punch down dough and divide in half.
Form 2 loaves with the dough, place on a baking sheet with parchment paper, cover, and wait 25 minutes.
Add a dash of kosher salt to the top and make small slices in the loaf to add texture when baking.
Set oven to 450 F.
Place baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
